“I was born with a physical disability which has left me wheelchair bound, and in 2001 I was admitted to Blenheim Lodge for younger adults. I settled in really well here, and even met and married my wife Linda. I enjoy having my own space to read the newspaper and watch television programmes, and also like going to parks and to the cinema.

The staff are really caring, and approach care in a person-centred way.  I enjoy the level of activities offered and the fact that I have a choice as to which ones best suit my needs; I am involved in building my own care plan, and living here has made my life much easier, as I now have support 24 hours a day.”
